Somos quienes somos

Now that you've been introduced to the course, we will continue this week learning, and retelling, people's stories. We'll start work on the biography project by reviewing relevant grammar structures and thinking through questions you can use for the interview.

This week's learning outcomes are:

Communicative outcomes

• Understand syllables and apply accent rules
• Identify language learning strategies and build language awareness
• Discuss people's origins

Structural outcomes

• Practice using accent marks
• Review basic structures of present tense, gustar-like verbs, and uses of ser and estar
• Review structures in the past using preterit and imperfect tenses.
