El Pretérito
El pretérito se usa para indicar acciones que pasaron en el pasado en un tiempo definido. Las formas regulares del pretérito son:

¡OJO! Los acentos son sumamente importantes en las formas verbales. Hay una gran diferencia entre llevo y llevó.
Do you say "tú llevastes"? Are you wondering why it's not here? This is a regionalism. While it is valid and ok to use with others who speak or understand the same regional Spanish you do, it is not a standard written form. I definitely value the language you speak, and at the same time, I want you to develop Spanish language as a professional skill. This means that you should learn to use the more generally accepted words and forms that will give you that professional edge. It doesn't mean you stop using your natural forms - you just learn to adjust your language for the audience. In the end you have a richer vocabulary and more marketable skills.
