There are sign-ups posted in Sakai now for two sets of chat times: Small Group Chat makeups and the Wk17 Formal Discussions. As always, if you cannot make any of the times listed, contact me ASAP so we can make other arrangements.
Small Group Chat makeups
You are only required to have TWO group chat grades for the semester (not including the "Final discussion" ones.) If you already have two in the Gradebook, you do not need to do a makeup unless you want to increase one of your grades. If you do not have two chats, please sign up for a time slot on this day or contact me before November 22 to make other arrangements. The topic for this chat will be to talk about what you've learned about migration through the semester and/or after doing your Migration Waves project.
Wk17 Formal Discussions
Everyone needs to participate. These slots are for 30 minutes, and this discussion grade counts slightly more than the other chats (at 4% of your final grade.) In this conversation, you'll talk about what you've learned about migration during the semester and your thoughts on the future of migration. I'll post more detailed info in Semana 17.
