These icons are used in the lessons to help identify different types of assignments:
Practices and other graded work. These are the ones that count for a grade but have multiple attempts. They're meant for you to practice the material and can be thought of like in-class activities or "homework" in a traditional class setting.
Grammar quizzes. These are the actual quizzes. You only have 1 attempt and are usually timed.
Forums. These are the forum discussions either in Sakai or on FlipGrid. When using FlipGrid, you must log in with your ConnectMail account. Do not create a log in with a different account for work in this class.
Assessment projects. These are the projects we'll do - sort of like a unit test. They require time and preparation, so you'll see this icon whenever I point out steps to be working on for the assessment.
