You've done solid work in this first unit of our second semester.  The goal and purpose of researching Martin Luther King, Jr. was to expose you to a research process that you will follow as you research another influential individual of your own choosing.

Next week in Unit 6 Session 1, you will select an individual to research on your own for that unit.  This individual will either be one of the selections for Time's "Person of the Year" or an individual on Time Magazine's list of the 100 most important people of the 20th century.  You will each choose a different person on a "first come, first served" basis.  You are welcome to browse the lists linked here ahead of next week's session so that you can start thinking about who you would like to research.
