Read the first ¼ of your book (refer to the reading schedule you created. As you read, consider these questions:

• What do you learn about the main character/protagonist(s) in the first 1/4 of the book?
• Based on what you learn about the main character, what predictions can you make about where the text is headed?

Be sure you are annotating your text as you read so that you can complete your reader response notes for each section AND the final book review blog in session 4.
