Learning Objectives

We've been studying conflict and will continue to do so this week with another story.  We will also write about conflict, focusing on details from the story we read to construct a multi-paragraph essay that follows the PEA writing method.

By the end of the week, you will:

• examine conflict within various texts
• write about conflict and theme in literature using PEA (claim, evidence, and warrant)
• select relevant details from the text to support your writing
• apply MLA format to writing
