Satire is used to show foolishness, flaws, or the negative side in humans, organizations, or even governments - it uses sarcasm, ridicule, or irony.
Satire can be used in a part of a work or it can be used throughout an entire work. Generally, it is more lengthly and is often considered it's own style --like comedy or tradgey.
