So, now that you know what a platformer is, let's think about what makes a platformer good.  Not just what a platformer is, but what makes it entertaining enough to be a classic or to make people want to play it again and again.

At the bottom of the page are two clones of classic platformers for you to take a shot at, if you'd like.  What is it about these that's good?  What's not so good?

Objective: Develop three characteristics of a "good" platformer.  Not just what makes it a platformer, but three things that make it a good game that also happens to be a platformer.  Post your three characteristics and respond to at least one other post telling WHY you agree or disagree.
